Introducing Directual Certification and Hire an Expert

Fabulous news for our development agencies, freelancers, and everyone in between! Now, you can get certified as a Directual Expert and offer your services to potential clients right within the platform.

Directual Expert Certification

Get a badge that actually matters! With a Directual Expert Certificate in hand, you’ll be able to prove to anyone that you know the platform well enough to offer professional services.

The process is simple: head over to your Hire an Expert profile and click Certification. Send us examples of your work alongside your experience. We’ll take a look, and if you are worthy of Mjölnir 🔨 experienced enough, you will get your shiny certificate. To complete the certification, you’ll also need to pay a one-time fee, which will then grant certain perks, depending on the tier. Here’s how it works:

Once you’ve got your certificate, you’ll be able to post your company and/or services profile. Speaking of…

Hire an Expert

In this section, Directual users can post task offers, similar to any run-of-the-mill freelance board like Fiverr or Upwork.

Freelancers or software dev agencies can then make offers on these tasks, alongside a detailed explanation of steps that will be taken and the price.

To get started with this, simply head over to Hire an Expert section in your Directual app, and click New request. Fill out the details, and voila! We’ll pre-moderate every request to make sure there’s no spam.

You can also set up payment details for each stage of the project, leave comments, do many other things.

Alternatively, you can navigate the list of certified Developers and submit your request directly.

Developer profile

Advertise yourself! As a developer, you can list your services with a detailed list of tasks you’re ready to perform, your own experience, and anything else you find relevant. You can also let other people know if you’re open to new projects at the moment.

Clients will also be able to see stats, such as the number of completed tasks, the number of failed tasks, reviews, and some other metrics.

It’s worth mentioning that the Directual Team is also open to helping you with complex, large-scale projects. You’ll find our profile on the list—just give us a shout and we’ll see what we can do together. Bear in mind—while our consultation and help will no doubt be invaluable, our priority is still on the development of the platform. We will reserve the right to offer our help to ambitious projects and complex undertakings only.

Escrow

Developers can also opt for the Escrow option, where the payment in D-coins is first secured by Directual, which will act as your third-party intermediary. If everyone is happy at the end of the project, the payment is released to the developer and can then be converted into TON—with a tiny processing tax on our side, of course. That can be set up for every stage of the development process separately.
The escrow percentage held by Directual will be determined based on your certificate tier (see the table above). Every payment made or received will be visible in your Payment history.

If you are unhappy with the work performed by a developer, you can dispute the task—our experts will take a look and dispense unbiased justice. On top of that, as soon as you (as a Developer) accept a task with the escrow option enabled, the D-coins required for that particular assignment (or task in general if there’s only one) will be immediately held by Directual and only released as soon as the work is approved.

In case you’d like to opt out of the Escrow option, bear in mind that Directual cannot interfere with or oversee the delivery of completed tasks and payments involved.
