New feature. Templates

December 2, 2020

Certainly, Directual is becoming one of the most powerful platforms on the market. Last summer we introduced Directual Design—front-end components library and the web-page builder. That allowed us to use Directual as a full-stack low-code platform. Today we are happy to announce a new amazing feature—templates. These are apps 100% made on Directual.

How to use templates

On the platform home page you can choose the template, see its description and create a new app with that template. Preconfigured modules will be installed directly into your new app. Feel free to use the template for learning purposes, or apply it “as is” for your business needs.

Meet the first template—CRM

That is a small but illustrative app which includes examples of using such essential features as database, users authentication, real-time scenarios, and web-pages with forms and cards. The business flow is pretty straightforward. There are managers and clients. Managers fill the goods catalogue. The clients may place orders. Next, an order goes through the following workflow: new–processing–completed or cancelled states. Managers can take new orders to process them. Then, managers can close (complete or cancel) the deals assigned to them.

What is next?

Of course, the number and quality of templates will grow. But we would like to pinpoint that introducing templates is just the first step towards the app marketplace, where each and every Directual user would be able to share their apps.
